Brand new canon branded compatible ink cartriges. Upon install they don't light up despite clicking into place, and the printer displays support code 1660 for all ink cartriges. I've reset the cartiges multiple times and cleaned them. I'd appreciate any help troubleshooting!

Hi,
Canon recommends only using Canon brand ink. Sometimes with Canon compatible third party cartridges, the ink may not be detected correctly. You can try holding down the stop button on the printer for 5 seconds to see if the error will clear.

As I said in my original post, I'm using canon brand ink. I've tried holding the stop button but the error doesn't clear.
