I just upgraded on my Mac to Catalina. Now my printer prints VERY SLOWLY!! I'm in the process of printing photos 4x6 and it takes about 15 minutes to print one!!! I updated the driver and that hasn't helped. Help!!

OS upgrades can sometimes introduce abnormal or undesired behaviors for connected device that existed and worked previously. Also common when the previous drivers were intended for a previous operating system.
I suggest you un-install the printer and ALL of the drivers/software, restart, then reinstall using the Catalins specific drivers from the start.
You'll need both CUPS and scanner or ICA driver for proper function under 10.15.x
