I have a new MX922 printer. I fought with it for hours trying in vain to install on my HP Pavilion G6 Windows 7 over wifi network.
The installation appeared to proceed without any problems, and when I got to "Print Test Page" nothing happend. When I looked at the installation logged, "installation over network failed". The icons for the printer were in the control panel, but when I select "Properties" I get an error message saying the "Driver is not" installed. I attempted uninstall and reinstall, and even downloaded the drivers from the Canon support site with no luck.
The following day I successfully installed the printer via USB on my Win 7 desktop, successfully...as well as my wifes laptop ( same laptop as mine) over wifi, and was even able to print from my iphone.
My computer is obviously the problem, does anyone know what could be the problem and how to get around it?
Thanks
Mike.
