Pixma MG 3620 showing a jam with no jam

My Pixma MG 3620 is showing a jam but there is no jam. I have cleared every jam and opened numerous compartments. What do I try now? I have only had the printer since August.

Hi,

I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer. If the error does not clear, the printer will require service. 

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

Im in the same situation. It can't always be oh you have to take it for repair. HP printers never have these Jam no paper anywhere issues. I took a chance on a Canon and sure enough the jam light wont go out and there isn't a scrap of paper in it. Surely there are better fixes than taking it for repair - its almost brand new printer!
