My G7020 just updated its firmware to 1.080 and it will not scan or print over the network anymore. I've done literally everything in the way of troubleshooting including a factory reset and uninstalling all Canon software, but the new firmware remained. I can ping the device over the network and can access the remote UI, but when I try to install the Canon drivers and scanner utilities, the installers can't find it and refuse to continue. Is there a way to roll back the firmware, or is this thing bricked? FWIW, I can install basic printer drivers via Windows 11, and it will print, but that doesn't give me a scanner.

The firmware is up to date. For ages it's been saying that new firmware is on the server but I ignored it. Today it said that firmware was updated and that's when the connectivity problem began. Prior to the automatic updates everything worked fine.
