I have a Canon Pixma G3262 that refuses to feed paper during normal printing. However, it will feed paper during the roller cleaning process.
When I hit “Print”, I can hear the rollers moving, then the printer makes internal noises as if it’s printing, but the paper never feeds. It just keeps making those noises indefinitely. The only way to stop it is to unplug the printer. If I try a roller cleaning test, the printer immediately grabs the paper with no issue, and there’s no residue from the rollers on the paper itself. If I run the roller test without paper, the rollers keep spinning until I insert paper, so it does detect when the paper is there. I’ve tried multiple types of paper, different print sources (AirPrint and the Canon PRINT app), and manually pushing the paper in, nothing works. There are no error messages and no paper jams.
I’ve already tried cleaning the rollers, cleaning out dust from the paper tray, resetting the printer multiple times, and changing paper settings.
The printer was bought new in December 2023, I’ve lightly used it. I can’t afford a new printer right now, so I really need a fix for this. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there a solution I haven’t tried yet?
Thanks in advance for any help.
