Part fell out of PIXMA TR8520

Paper jammed in my TR8520 printer.  Tipped it up to pull out paper, and this part fell out.  Where does it go?

One could access a parts list, either online or through Canon. Not sure if they would have it but I have found a bunch of parts lists and schematics here: www.ereplacementparts.com.
