Error meesage: Status: Error...not documents will print. I can make copies though. Do I need to reinstall anything?

Hi SallyBrown,
Since you are able to make copies, we can presume that there is no mechanical issue with your PIXMA MX479, and that the only problem is with the communication between computer and printer.
In order to better assist you, allow me to ask a couple questions:

Issue seems to have resolved itself. Was more of a router problem. Thanks, Sally

I use Windows 8.1, my printer is connected wirelessly, and I just installed two new cartridges. I have downloaded the latest MP drivers, and it still will not print from my computer. Any help would be appreciated!

Try turning the printer off and back on. Then restart your computer. Once this has been done, try printing to test the connection.
