My Pixma iX6820 printer won't print on Avery 8871 Business Card paper (just ejects the paper through). In print settings, I'm using US Letter, range and scale, media type set to auto, and "fit to printable”. Printing one sheet at a time.

To resolve the issue of your Pixma iX6820 not printing on Avery 8871 Business Card paper, follow these steps:
Quality Settings: If available, choose the best quality setting for printing to enhance the output.
Using the manual feed tray can significantly improve the feeding of the card stock. Here’s how to do it effectively:
Lift the Paper: If your printer does not have a manual feed tray, place a small stack of regular paper beneath the Avery card stock. This helps lift the card stock for easier feeding.

Greetings,
What operating system version and build are using your printer with?
Does the printer work normally when printing other documents?
Did you install Canon drivers from the support portal for your device or are you using ones provided by the OS?
What application are you printing from?
Are you using an Avery template, maybe printing from Microsoft Word?

Thanks for the reply. I am using an iMac (Monterey). I downloaded the most current drivers for the iX6820 printer from Canon. I have no trouble printing other documents and can print to paper and 67lb card stock but it won’t print using the Avery 8871 business card sheets (using the Avery template). The application I am printing from is Affinity Designer 2. I can print from the application to the printer if I use printer paper or card stock but if I try using the business card sheet (one at a time) the printer starts when the job is sent to it but then the sheet is just ejected from the printer without printing and the Amber error light flashes.

Thank you for your response. There are no options for cardstock or labels in the printer settings. I have looked through the settings thoroughly. I will try your suggestion of putting a small stack of printer paper under the sheet and see if that helps. But I have printed often using one sheet of 67lb card stock.

I assumed incorrectly that your printer is installed on a Windows device. Does your MAC have a heavyweight paper setting?
