PIXMA iX6820 keeps zooming in on images when printing

Steffegan

Hello,

I have a Pixmaix6820 that doesnt print the full image. I'm running it on a MAC (Sierra) and trying to print on kodak glossy photopaper. Everytime I print, the image is scaled up and have all the edges cut off for some reason. The 'scale to fit media' box is ticked and the image is exactly 8.5x11 at 300 dpi. Ive tried making the dpi/image a little smaller, hoping that the 'scale to fit' button would work but the image is still zoomed in.

I had a smaller canon printer before this one and it had no troubles at all so I'm a little frustrated. I'd appreciate any help!

Thank you

Also here are pics of my print settings if that helps at all

Hello.

If borderless printing is enabled, the image will be extended beyond the edges of the paper in order to guarantee the edge to edge bleed.  To prevent any cut off, you will have to print a "bordered" image instead.  This will allow you to retain the entire image.

Hello, I have been having the same issue and when I select bordered, it’s making the image smaller than the page size

Fit to page and borderless will enlarge the picture but not always, depends on the photo program. My MG3620 settings warn me that borderless with 8.5x11 photo paper  will zoom the image in when printing from Corel PaintShop Pro. From  Windows Photos it does not enlarge when I print borderless and fit to page for an 8x10 photo on 8.5x11 inch paper and I get no warning. What do Pixea or Picview do to the image?
