PIXMA iX6820 Loading paper error

I just purchased my canon ix6820 and my test page printed fine. Now that I am attempting to print my standard prints, I am receiving the 2-flash "printer needs paper" error (there is paper loaded). What are the steps I need to take to rectify?

• Did you install the current software & drivers using the setup tool outlined in the quick start guide? If not, grab it at https://canon.us/iX6820setup 
• Which app are you printing from?
• What paper are you using?
• Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
• How do you connect to your printer (USB or WiFi)?

Any other details you'd like to give will only help the Community better understand your issue.

I installed the latest drivers and software. I am printing via WiFi on Mac Sequoia 15. I am using standard 11x17 paper.

Because this issue is hardware related, it is recommended that you contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

https://mycanon.usa.canon.com

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA iX6820 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support.
