PIXMA iX6820 Loading paper error

I just purchased my canon ix6820 and my test page printed fine. Now that I am attempting to print my standard prints, I am receiving the 2-flash "printer needs paper" error (there is paper loaded). What are the steps I need to take to rectify?

Hi Stephen,I installed the latest drivers and software. I am printing via WiFi on Mac Sequoia 15. I am using standard 11x17 paper.
