My iP8720 is printing with a heavy pink/magenta cast on any photo paper setting. Blacks come out purple, dark areas are washed out. Plain paper prints perfectly with correct colors.
This is the first time I've printed since upgrading to macOS Tahoe (26). It worked fine before the upgrade.

Is this a known issue with macOS Tahoe? Is there a driver update planned? Any workarounds?

Did that early on, when it first happened and the test print was perfect.

Seems to be a paper related issue. There isn’t an overall cast. Do you have other Canon photo paper?

Yeah, I have used Canon glossy (the last print I shared was Canon Premium Plus II) and matte as well as HP and Office Depot papers, all turn out the same BUT if I print to plain its perfect, at least the color is. Thanks, btw, for sticking with this.

Just for completeness, could you post phone photo of nozzle check printout?

Try this, print on the glossy paper but set the printer for matte paper, print quality set for high or photo.

I think you are missing the BK channel.

Yup, tried that too. Similar result. The only way I seem to be able to get the colors right is printing to plain paper and setting the printer to the same. Of course if I set it to plain paper and use photo paper it turns out wrong as well.

Thought I'd share this one too. Grayscale image, printed with glossy paper setting but did not select print grayscale. I have printed similar images quite literally scores of times with no issue prior. Notice the screenshot contains no blue.

Ugh I'm an idiot. That nozzle test clearly shows NOTHING for BK. So annoyed with myself. Ran a cleaning and the test shows the channel working. Prints are back to looking great. John thanks for sticking with me and making me look at it again.
