I've been designing and printing 11 x17 glossy brochures using Koala Glossy double sided paper for over a year with my Canon TS9521c that is on a wifi connection to my desktop running Windows 11 Pro with no concerns until recently. I went to print a brochure in the same manner with the same template from canva downloaded in a pdf format best for printing using RGB color management. I set up the print and it is fomatted fine but the colors that are printing have a distinct green tint to the entire page. So I went into the Canon printer settings and even tried chaning the color management by decreasing the green tint and reprinting and now it appears that areas of the photos (these are real estate brochures with photos completed by professionals) are not printing. I have cleaned the print heads and checked the print patterns and everything seems fine on those diagnostics. But even when I go back and print an older version of the brochure that printed fine a month ago, the print quality is consistent with the one just designed. So I'm thinking it has to be something with the printer itself.
I have uninstalled the printer and reinstalled with the most current drivers. I have cleaned the print heads although it did not appear that was needed. And I am stumped...and have been at this for trying to figure it out sporadically as time allows for over 2 weeks.
Should I trash my print cartridges and replace those? that is the only thing I can think that has changed since my last good printout..
Open to suggestions!! PS I also went back to my original template for the brochure and got rid of any back layers of photos that could be bleeding through...

Hey there!
When working with our printers, there are only a handful of tips to remember to ensure your Canon Printer can provide the best quality print it's given:
- Always use Genuine Canon Ink. Sounds like a cop out, but it's true. We formulate our inks very precisely to pair with our printers, so they have exactly what is necessary to keep the print head in optimal condition while providing true-to-life colors.
- Use the driver recommended/provided by Canon. It won't always be the AirPrint or Windows built-in driver. Using our driver will allow you to use all of your printer's features.
- Use supported media. Double-check that the paper you're using is something your printer can use.
If you're ever not sure about any of these things, we're happy to help here on the Canon Community, you can find the most current software & drivers in your Canon Account at https://canon.us/account, of you can even call support for a helping hand at 800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666). Hi ndawsey,
Please load plain paper into your printer and then follow these steps:
1. Please tap the gear icon at the bottom of your TS9521c's display.
2. Tap Maintenance.
3. Tap Print nozzle check pattern and then Yes.
A test page will print.
Please compare that printout with the example below.
Does yours match the example?

That was one of the first things I did! I believe in fact I state that up top. And ironically it printed out the pattern just fine and also stated that no print heads needed cleaning when checked. However, I did go back and removed the magenta cartridge and replaced it with a new one and things improved immediately. I still find that my printout appears to have more of a green tint than I prefer so I adjusted the green tint manually and that worked out well too. However, I am still curious if anyone has experience with ICC profiles for Koala Paper. I cannot find any on the Koala website and didn't know if that would be helpful as well.
Also when downloading for print out of Canva, do you recommend downloading as a pdf with RGB or CYMK colors for this Canon Printer and the quality it outputs?
