PIXMA TR8620a - printer not printing colors correctly

Hello,

I'm having issues with my printer not printing colors correctly.  I've done the maintenance- nozzle check, cleaning and deep cleaning the printing heads.  The first nozzle check did not print cyan.  The second nozzle check (after the deep cleaning showed cyan but it was streaky.  When I try to print my documents, the cyan printed on the first page only and then the cyan and the black stopped printing and changed to a brownish color.  The colors printing are the colors on the original document.  I reinstalled the driver from the Canon website.  The Windows test page printed fine- a good, solid black so I tried to print these documents in grayscale/black. These documents didn't print black but as a brownish color with red type.  (Extremely hard to read.)  The ink levels show that I still have ink in all the cartridges.

I'm trying to print PDF documents if that makes any difference.

Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If you can’t get a good nozzle check you won’t get good printouts.
If you have run several deep cleanings and still can’t get a proper nozzle check your print head has probably failed.
You could try some of the head cleaning processes you can find on YouTube.
If that fails you could contact Canon. They have a program for replacement printers if there is a one that can’t be fixed.
