I have a Canon TS9521C and barely used it.
I print Birthday and thank you cards, and recently, the black print has been fuzzy on the hardstock cards. but it looks fine on normal paper. I've tried the cleaning, the deep cleaning, replacing the ink, etc.
very frustrating, as I wasted several cards already trying to make it work.
please advise.

You are using a dye ink (think colored water) on uncoated paper. Put a drop of water on the card stock and see how it gets absorbed. Try the same on plain paper.

this issue recently started. I didn't have any issues with the fuzziness of the print before.
I changed cartridges of the black ink, that's when the fuziness began. I also replaced both of the black inks to see if it was the cartridge, but i'm getting the same blured/ print

Are they Canon inks or third party inks? What about the previous inks?

both times 3rd party inks, but i'm going to try with Canon inks to see if the issue continues

I had a friend who bought some third party ink for a Pro-100. When the orange cover on the bottom was removed ink actually dripped out. Never happened with Canon inks. Nozzle check produced smeared images.

all other colors are printing fine when I replaced them, it's the black ink that's smearing/fuzzy

Are you using coated cardstock? I found the black smeared horribly on coated card so I changed to uncoated and it worked much better.

Try Canon ink. If it still shows the problem contact Canon support.
