PIXMA TS9120 Support code 1700


I have the Pixma TS9120 printer.  I just got the dreaded code 1700 (the ink absorber is almost full). Of the different information I have read about this issue, I haven't found one that discusses how to get into service mode with this model to be able to access the absorber counter (as well as the location of service tool software).  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The Service Tool is only available to authorized service technicians. You can try pressing okay to clear the message but once the absorber is full, the error will no longer clear. 

 If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
