Hi,
I'm a bit new here, but I have a Canon PIXMA TS8220 multi-function printer, and when it does its auto-off function, it gets stuck on the screen that says "Ending...". When I press the power button, it does nothing but sit on that screen. I've tried leaving it be for several hours, and it again does nothing but sit on that screen. I've tried also to hold the power button down for a few seconds, and still it is stuck on that "Ending..." screen. My only recourse is to disconnect it from the power cable and then plug it back in. I really don't like doing that because it might damage the printer. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. I've thought of doing a factory reset, but I don't think that's going to fix it. Though I'm open to ideas at this point.
