PIXMA TS6420a started printing page headers but not the body of documents, how do I fix this?

I'm using OiS Sonoma 14.6.1 and the printer recently had a software update

Please take a picture of the nozzle check that you printed and please post it as a reply to this.

Patrick I looked at the comparison page again and realized that none of the top black bar had printed. I now realize I had left a tag on the cartridge. Thanks for pointing me in that direction

Thanks Danny, it is from multiple applications. Sometimes Pages or Keynote and sometimes a screen shot which prints completely blank.

Hi wrighpf,

First, please print a test page:

1.  Press OK one time on your PIXMA TS6420a.

2.  Use the down arrow to select Maintenance and press OK.

3.  Press OK on Nozzle Check.

4.  Select Yes and press OK.

A test page will print.

Compare your printout with the example below.  Does it match?

If not, please follow the steps provided on this page:

TS6400 series > Maintenance > If Printing Is Faint or Uneven > Maintenance Procedure

Thank Patrick, this did not fix the issue. I don't think it's a head/ink issue. Sometimes it prints only if I use a certain font, but I;m still getting blank pages most of the time. Just tried again from a PDF and page was blank
