PIXMA TS6420a Support Code 7700

I have a question about an error that the printer displays. This error is displayed on the screen and says it is the error: Support Code 7700. According to the information I was able to find on the web, it mentions that the error 7700 means the following:

The error 7700 is displayed on a 2-cartridge printer model after replacing the cartridge or when the ink runs out.

I was even able to find how to solve the problem, and it says:

This problem is due to damaged contacts in a print head. It is a common problem with refilled cartridges or third-party cartridges that our printers do not recognize. The solution to this problem is to replace the printer cartridges with Canon brand cartridges, starting with the last cartridge replaced before the error began to occur.

After reading the information described, I purchased and installed the new cartridge; but it still continues to indicate the aforementioned error. Therefore, I do not know what alternatives exist to solve this problem and I would like to know the opinion and what I should do. Any information you can offer me would be appreciated.

Since this error applies to multiple printer models, it might be helpful if you tell us which Canon printer you own.

If the replacement cartridge didn't resolve the issue, the printhead may have malfunctioned or be damaged.

Printer Information:

Brand: Canon
Model: TS6420a

If the print head is not working or is damaged, what alternatives do I have, if anything, before buying another printer?
