PIXMA TS6420 can no longer scan using Image Capture on Mac

My Canon TS6420 no longer shows up in Image Capture on Mac, so I can't scan with it. Image Capture says "No camera or scanner selected."

I can, however, print.

But my wife's Mac can scan to the TS6420! And we're both running macOS 26 (Tahoe).

I've tried re-adding the printer (twice) in System Settings, as well as restarting both the computer and printer.

Can anyone please help?

Thank you very much for your response! I checked, and there is no option for Open Scanner.
