PIXMA TS6220 Produces blank pages or partial color

Jeloo8
Apprentice

Our TS6220 started printing blank pages recently. I searched the Community and have tried the following:

  • Installed brand new ink cartridges.
  • Run Cleaning and Deep Cleaning processes with printing nozzle pattern.
  • Turned off and waited overnight.
  • Re-run Cleaning and Deep Cleaning.
  • Removed the ink cartridges and cleaned the print head nozzles with Q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol,  let them dry and reinstalled ink cartridges. (Several times)

Yesterday, the cyan ink started printing. Cleaning the print head nozzles resulted in magenta printing faintly too, but I still can't get the yellow or either black cartridge (280 or 281) to print.

Please advise.

Hi,

You have performed the steps we would normally have suggested. Since the issue is not resolved the printer would require service.

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
