PIXMA TS6120 printing blurred words, can't read

Please help.  My printer printed blurred words. Can't read. There are white lines across the words.

- Are you seeing any error messages?
- Which version of Windows or macOS are you using?
- How do you connect to your printer: via USB or Wi-Fi?
- Are you using Genuine Canon ink?
- If you haven't, be sure to do a nozzle check

No I didn't see any error messages.

I'm using Windows 11.

I use Wi-Fi to connect to the printer.

No I'm not using the original Canon ink. Could the ink be the cause of the problem? 

The printer is a few years old and I have been using the original Canon ink. This last time, the local office supply store was out of the ink plus things has gotten expensive so I thought I should try non-Canon ink. The non-Canon ink worked just fine until today. Should I go back to using Canon ink?

I'll look into the nozzle check tomorrow.

Please follow the maintenance procedure provided on this page from the manual:

TS6100 series > Maintenance > Incorrect Printing > Maintenance Procedure

If the issue persists after performing the steps provided on that page, your PIXMA TS6120 would require service.  You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
