2024 and the issue still exists. Mine is a TS5350 and I bought it during last year's christmas. At first I thought it would be something related to the Mac's printing interface or to the paper but I see it is not. Same plain paper, same settings but the "borderless" one and all the blacks look faded. Printing with border though, the blacks look very vivid and.. black. I never liked Canon and this is definitely why I am going with Brother or HP.
And also, official ink cartridges guarantee like b/w 300 copies but I need to change it after 50 AT MOST. I don't even print on high quality, normally draft.
