Is there any way we can set the printer to print documents with the control panel in its closed position
It's absurd that we have to open it every time we want to print, it means it's more likely to get damaged (maybe why Canon have designed it hat way?) and if the printer is on a high shelf makes pressing [OK] a safety issue.
If it's left open all the time it just encourages dust to get into the works. Come On Canon, how about a firmware upgrade that allows us to choose if it has to be open to print?
