i followed above instructions. i checked to update firm ware. It requires to print, obviously can't do that. other option is to press a specific button. it dodn't specify. i pressed all buttons and it didn't work. 😞

Hi CanonSD,

Please open the cover to your printer.  Once open, please remove both ink cartridges.

Close the cover, turn your printer off and then back on.

Does a different error appear? 

If the error that appears is E 0 4 or E 0 5 , please replace both ink cartridges with new, genuine Canon ink cartridges.  Your PIXMA TS3722 is compatible with the following ink cartridges:

PG-275 black
CL-276 color

PG-275XL black
CL-276XL color

If the P 1 0 error appears with no ink cartridges installed, your PIXMA TS3722 would require service.  If your PIXMA TS3722 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. Once logged in, click on your PIXMA TS3722 and then click on the Product Support button.  When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support.

I followed the link your product expert patrick gave, https://mycanon.usa.canon.com to contact a technical support representative. it made me pick a way to sign in (facebook, google, apple, even my emai;?) why is that? i tried through apple sign in and it won't work. i am not comfortable as i dont want my other log in to be compromised by phishing networks.  to create a canon tech support account. i need to create a new account asied from this community canon support account? i'm confuse. would anyone walk me through this? - CanonSD

Hi CanonSD,

The P 0 2 error can occur if there is a smudge on the encoder inside of your PIXMA TS3722.
