PIXMA TS3522 Error Code P02

Setting up brand new printer and the display is flashing alternating lights green and orange and that code displays one character at a time. I'm at a loss

Please follow the steps on this page to resolve the P 0 2 error on your PIXMA TS3522:

If the P 0 2 error persists, your PIXMA TS3522 would require service.  If your PIXMA TS3522 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. If your PIXMA TS3522 is out of warranty, you are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

"Our printer was made in 1999 and rebranded for 2022. It stops working after your first 22 pages, which means when you count the total cost of the printer, shipping charges to "repair" it, and new ink cartridges you bought thinking it was an ink problem, you just paid $5 a page to print and will now never be able to print again.

In short, instead of repairing it, please just invest the money to buy a real printer. Even one from 2005 will work better than this one.
