PIXMA TS3122 "Security Warning" Message

Raider2raven
Apprentice

I have been trying to print today and I get his message on my iPhone and iPad. The other day I did not have a problem printing. My iPhone is running the latest iOS and so is my iPad. Nothing has been changed router and printer. I get this message: security warning. The printer cannon ts3100 series appears to be a different printer than the previously used printer with the same name or the connection may not be trustworthy. If this is expected tap continue or cancel. I have reset printer several times and have restarted router once.

Thanks for joining the conversation, Raider2raven!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA TS3100 series.  The model number should appear on the top of the printer just above the on/off button. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hi Raider2raven,

Please view "LotusPilot's" answer on Apple's Community board for his recommended solution to the message that you are experiencing.  Please note, the printer is a different manufacturer, but the answer that LotusPilot provides should resolve this issue:

I will try it out when i get a chance. From my understanding it sounds like I can just tap continue and it will do a new certificate. I don’t use a vpn so I don’t think I need to do the second pawr
