Hi BDH2022! Thanks for posting in the Canon Community Forum. I see that you would like your PIXMA MG3620 to turn on when it receives a print or scan command from your computer.
The MG3620 does have an Auto Power On function. You can enable that option by following these steps:
- Make sure the printer is turned on and that the Power light and Orange Alarm light (lamps) are not blinking.
- HOLD down the Red Stop button and keep it held down until the Orange Alarm Lamp flashes 14 times. Let go immediately after the 14th flash.
- Press and release the Color START button (with the green diamond symbol).
Important: When you start holding down the Stop button in step 2, you will need to start looking at the orange Alarm lamp (with the triangle symbol). It’s important to let go of the button at the appropriate time (14 flashes).
