I have a Canon PIXMA TR8620, it is about 4 yrs old. It had been working great with my Pixel book Chromebook laptop. But, everything was on a DSL Modem 12, which went out. At&t switched me to a All WiFi Hub (fiber optic), 5 g. Setup went fine and at first printer worked, but then had a network error (495A) come up all the time and wouldn't print. I even uninstalled printer from laptop and reset printer to start fresh, but it wouldn't connect to any WiFi at all. At&t added a 2.4 g network and that network showed up on the printer. I put my password in and thought it would be fine. But, the support code 495A kept coming up and making me power off and back on all the time. Every so often it shows the WiFi working and I might get one print out of it before it shows the network issue again. BTW, on one of the times it showed working, I was able to connect to my laptop. I have looked at other issues on the board to try and resolve this. BTW, all my other devices connected work fine. My printer is about 3 feet from the hub. I read to disable the IPv6, which I did. I read to make sure on WPA2, which it is on. I have confirmed that the IP address on the printer is what is showing up on the hub. The hub shows it online, even when the printer shows the network error. At&t tried to help me to resolve the issue, but wasn't able to, said to contact Canon. I tried calling Canon and they kept disconnecting me and said they didn't show my model to support. I can print if I change setting to wired LAN and connect directly to my laptop. I am at my wits end, what can I do.
