mesav

Hello,

I recently purchased a pixma TR8620a printer. I am trying to scan some documents. How do I set it so that I can scan multiple pages into a single pdf?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi,

You will want to download and install IJ scan Utility from the Canon website. This will allow you to scan multiple pages into 1 pdf file. Please click HERE to access the support page for your printer.

Having a similar issue with scanning multiple pages from the printer control panel and paten. I have followed the steps here and do not get the option to continue scanning. https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/TR8600%20series/EN/UG/ug-060.html

Using Mac OS Ventura, all drivers installed and up to date.

Hi,

If you have the paper directly on the platen glass, try loading the paper in the automatic document feeder and then select the scan option.

I am scanning 2 sided documents so I need this to work on the platen if possible.  Is there a way for this to work? My Provos canon (Maxify 2320) did this without an issue. I don’t understand what I’m messing with the pixma.

I would like to be able to use the platen to scan multiple pages into one document, using the operation panel, as I did for many years with my MX922.  How is this done with the TR8620a?
