PIXMA TR8620a All-In-One Top Load not working

Hi there.  

Scanning using the top load Auto-Document-Feeder does *not* work on my PIXMA TR8620a All-In-One.  The sensor does "beep" when paper is loaded.  It simply does not roll, no paper is pulled into the scanner bed - even a single sheet.  

Bought 2 months ago.  The scanning function from the bed works fine end-to-end.  I've followed troubleshooting such as the "clean roller" utility, which seems to clean the main blank paper tray not the scanner.

You want to register your product on the Canon support site for your printer and then request support. You should still be under warranty if you purchased from an authorized canon dealer.
