My Canon TR8520 printer, connected to my Windows 10 PC, has developed a persistent issue. I used to occasionally receive "printer jammed" error messages on my monitor, which were accurate at the time. More recently, I started getting these same jam notifications, but the printer was definitively not jammed.
Now, the printer's screen is completely stuck on "Support Code 6000 - Printer error has occurred. etc." I'm unable to clear this message or use the printer at all. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Hi xiwiy14755,
The 6000 error may occur if a foreign object, such as a paper jam, is present.
Please use the following links to check for and potentially clear jammed paper from your PIXMA TR8520:

If the 6000 error persists, your PIXMA TR8520 would require service. If your PIXMA TR8520 was purchased less than a year ago, please contact one of Canon's Technical Support Representatives via phone or chat to obtain your in warranty options. To contact a Technical Support Representative, please use the link below to log into your My Canon account:

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA TR8520 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support.
If your PIXMA TR8520 is out of warranty, you are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program.
