I just changed the ink cartridges from the starter cartridges included to a new set of cartridges that I purchased at Staples. Now my printer will not print. I suspect it has something to do with the subscription that is aggressively suggested for ink with a monthly charge. I do not want to do that! I have been through a couple hours with a Canon representative who tried to figure it out and the best we could do was reach a subscription page asking for my payment details. Call me crazy, but I think there's a connection there. I do not know how to use this printer. Help!

The new cartridges you used, are they genuine Canon ink cartridges?

It may just be the printer. My PIXMA 4720 refuses to print half the time. I have to shut it off and back on several times before it will respond, although today nothing seems to work.
