PIXMA TR4500 Series - Printer offline

Has anyone experienced 'offline' printer issues on Windows 10? I've tried various troubleshooting steps, but my printer still won't come online. Any advice on how to fix this problem?

Thanks for joining the conversation, Oberе1_Meetg!

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using and whether it's connected to your computer via Wi-Fi or a USB cable. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, click HERE search our knowledge base or find additional support options HERE.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hello! I'm using canon tr4500. Ideally, I would like to connect using Wi-Fi. Thanks for your reply!

We appreciate the info, though we still need to know which specific model in the PIXMA TR4500 family you're using.  You'll find the model number on the front of the unit at the upper right.

Hello! Just recently I had a similar problem. My reason was a weak Wi-Fi signal. I found a recommendation to fix the problem in this article why is my printer offline. You can also find information on How to solve a problem with a printer offline: other reasons and solutions. After which I checked my Wi-Fi router and contacted my Internet provider. It didn't help and now I use my Canon printer with great pleasure.

Open the Run dialog (Win + R), type "services.msc," and press Enter. Locate the "Print Spooler" service, right-click on it, and select "Restart." Or u could also run Windows Troubleshooter. Ensure that your Windows 10 system is up to date. Sometimes, a system update includes fixes for printer-related issues.

@Obere1_meetg,

I'm happy to try and assist you once we know the model of your device?

You said ideally, you'd like to connect via wi-fi, does that mean the printer is connected as USB now?

I'll provide next steps after the above questions are answered.
