PIXMA MX922 - printer jam - removed paper from printer. But not able to clear the error.

I was printing an email when the paper jammed. I was able to get the paper out. But am unable to clear the error. Nothing in the print queue. I even tried the Manual Print Queue process. That didn't help.

Hi Nancy69,

Please turn your PIXMA MX922 off.  Wait a minute or two and then turn it back on.

Does an error appear on the display of your PIXMA MX922?  If so, what is the Support Code that appears at the top?

If the main menu appears, please follow these steps to perform a test page:

1.  Please press the MENU button on your PIXMA MX922.

2.  Use the down arrow key until the wrench and screwdriver icon is selected, then press OK.

3.  On Maintenance, press the OK button.

4.  Select Print nozzle check pattern and then press OK.

5.  Select Yes and then press the OK button.

Did the test page print?

If not, did an error appear on the display of your printer?

If an error appears, what is the Support Code that appears at the top of the display?

Too late. I gave up and purchased an HP printer and got rid of the Canon Printer.
