PIXMA MX492 Unresponsive After Ink Replacement

I need help please:

My printer needs ink - the green and yellow lights flashed

Now they are "frozen". i open the front to replace the ink and nothing responds.

Clarification needed: there were two error lights flashing on the unit. The ink cartridge(s) was/were replaced but the machine is now frozen/unresponsive? 🤔
