PIXMA MX472, B200 service code

All, My MX472 has been great for years, but , now is in printer error with a B200 service code. Is there anything to fix or is it dead?

Understanding Error B200 on Canon MX472

Error B200 on the Canon MX472 indicates an issue with the printhead voltage or temperature. This error can prevent the printer from functioning properly.

Steps to Resolve Error B200

Initial Reset

1. Disconnect the power cable from the printer.
2. Wait for one hour.
3. Reconnect the power cable.
4. If the error does not clear, the printhead may be clogged or damaged. 

If powering it down does not clear the error or if it clears and comes back when trying to print, considering the age of the printer it may be better to consider a replacement. The Pixma TR4720 is very similar in function and is inexpensive.
