I've had my MX410 for 8 or 10 yrs as I remember and its always served me well. Just recently I'm getting the error message "check ink, UO51, Col blk".
I've replaced the BLACK ink cartridge with a CANON brand new one and the error message tells me;
"the following ink cartridge cannot be recognized, color black".
This has never happened before and I've probably had 15 cartridges that I've re-installed/replaced over the years of ownership (I don't print a whole lot).
Am I going to have to go through all the "drain bamage" AND expense of buying a new printer since Canon doesn't support this model any longer ...... OR do some of you "smarter than me" folks have any "fixes" for this ?
Thanks a ton in advance,
Mike W.
