PIXMA MX340 won't print, won't connect to computer

I have a Pixma MX340. I started setting it up today and I haven't been able to print anything from my computer to the printer. I've tinkered around, I've watched a bunch of videos, and I can't seem to connect my computer to the printer. My laptop doesn't isn't able to take in a CD and from what I see, that's the only way that I can print something on my printer.

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PIXMA MX340 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!
