So I'm getting the ink pad message on my MG 8120. From what I've read that means my perfectly functioning printer is soon going to die. Is there some way to reset this counter or do I just throw out a perfectly good printer? If this is the case, I will never buy another Canon product which is a shame because I really like this printer. Obviously Canon is not an environmentally friendly company if we are forced to discard good functioning products. Are they really that stupid that they think people will buy another Canon product with a limited lifespan?
