Same here. I've been trying to scan via Wifi for weeks. I just purchased a USB-B to USB-C chord, to no avail. Ever since I upgraded to Sequoia, I haven't been able to scan at all.

All drivers are up to date, and I've followed all instructions. I'm using the MG7520

I connected an MS computer to my Wi-Fi and was able to scan using the printer/scanner without a problem. Therefore it would appear that the problem is with the Mac with Sequoia communicating with the printer. I assume Canon will need to adjust their software to handle it or at least consult with Apple to clarify the problem

We'd love to offer a solution, but we need more information. Please see Tiffany's post above, or visit https://canon.us/account to register your printer to ensure you have the current software and drivers installed.

It is an MG 7520, Ser. # ADPE00922.  When I attach an MS computer to the wifi the Canon scans just fine.  So it appears that Sequoia changed something that the Canon can't deal with.  Sounds like a software issue.  Canon is currently running 4.030.

Hi jwgottlieb,

The PIXMA MG7520 is not supported with macOS v15 (Sequoia).

The PIXMA MG7520 is compatible with Airprint, that is why you are able to print.

You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.

If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
