Ok, I have a Canon pixma MG3600 and I was low on ink. I switched them out and got about 1 week of printing with new cartridges…they were ‘compatible’ generic ink. When the printing stopped and no specific error code or message other than printer in error mode would display I purchased cans in specific ink and installed those thinking that was the issue. Still no luck and no further error specific info given…connected to wifi able to print print test screen…but will not print from computer. Only says ‘printer not responding’ and in box where estimated ink levels nothing is showing. I have installed reinstalled several times and restarted printer each time. I need a printer for my at home part time job so any suggestions welcome!!! Or I guess I’m buying a new printer??
