Hi,
To use your PIXMA MG2522 with your Chromebook, it must first be set up for use with a Windows or Mac computer using a USB cable. To print from your Chromebook, after it is setup for use with a Windows or Mac computer, it must be set up as a Classic Printer on that computer.
To do this, please follow the steps for connecting a Classic Printer from Google's web site:

Connecting your Canon Pixma printer to your Lenovo Chromebook can be a bit of a challenge, but it's definitely doable. First, make sure your printer is turned on and connected to your Wi-Fi network. Then, on your Chromebook, go to Settings > Advanced > Printing > Printers > Add Printer. From there, you should be able to select your printer from the list of available devices and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup process. If you're still having trouble, you might want to check out Multitechverse. It's an online community that's dedicated to all things tech, and they offer great advice and support for printer connectivity issues. Best of luck, and happy printing!
