To resolve a paper jam in the Canon Pixma MG2410, turn off the machine, unplug it, and carefully remove the jammed paper from the output slot or rear tray. Ensure no torn pieces remain inside, especially under the FINE cartridge holder, before resuming printing.

Resolving Paper Jams in Canon Pixma MG2410

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Turn Off and Unplug the Printer
    • Press the Stop button to cancel any print jobs.
    • Turn off the machine and unplug it from the power supply.
  2. Access the Jammed Paper

    • Retract the paper output tray.
    • Open the printer cover carefully.
  3. Remove the Jammed Paper

    • Check the output slot and rear tray for any jammed paper.
    • If the paper is stuck under the FINE cartridge holder, gently move the holder to the right or left to access the paper.
    • Pull the jammed paper out slowly to avoid tearing.
  4. Check for Torn Pieces

    • Ensure that no small pieces of paper remain inside the printer, especially under the FINE cartridge holder or in the side spaces.
  5. Reconnect and Test

    • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
    • If the paper jam error persists, double-check for any remaining paper pieces.

Important Tips

  • Always handle the FINE cartridge holder with care to avoid damage.
  • If you cannot remove the jammed paper or if the error continues, consider contacting a service center for assistance.
