I, too, am having this same issue; I am in Mac OS operating system, connected to the printer via Wifi. I load the vinyl paper in the rear feed, close the feed slot, and select "Letter" and "Matte." When I click print in Design Space, it only wants to draw up from the bottom tray - which I don't have paper in. So I tried again, this time when I clcik print, I also click the "use system dialog" option in Cricut's Design space. This puts design space into a perpetual spinning wheel of thought.
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Happy to provide more details too if needed! Thanks!

Hi SherryB,
Please place plain paper into the rear tray of your PIXMA G5020.
On your Mac, please click on the magnifying glass in the upper right corner and in the search box, please type TEXTEDIT and then open that application.
Once open, please type a few words into TextEdit and the click File and Print.
In the Print window, please click Show Details at the bottom. If Hide Details appears, that's OK, please continue on.
From the drop down box in the middle, please choose Media & Quality.
Please choose Rear tray from the Feed From drop down box.
Are you able to print from the rear tray using TextEdit?
If so, please attempt to print from Design Space again.
