I purchased a setup the meag tank G4280. I realize that I left the label on top of the print heads, I did take the tape off the bottom. How much problem is that going to be for me? I tried to speak with Canon rep but she said she could not help with that problem.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Thank you! I feel so stupid. I did call again and finally got someone who understood what I was saying. We have solved the problem! It really wasn't a big dal, in the end, the portals that deliver the ink had pierced the top of the printheads through the labels - we still went ahead and trouble shooted the printer and finally got the labels removed. In the end, I guess it depended on what color the labels were as to what needed to be done :). Again, thank you!

You can't take out the heads to remove the tape? The tape covers the places where ink enters the head from the tank, and the nozzles that pray ink onto the print medium. So yes, it is a problem.
You spoke with Canon Support Services, right? Are you sure? Seems like Canon could offer more of an answer than what you stated.

I suggest you call Canon Support again. They should answer that question. SOMEONE there should be more helpful than what you got.
