I have an error message involving a g3270 printer related to the encoder strip which will need repaired. Before I do that I would like to delete a document in the print queue but cannot get passed the error message screen to get back to the main menu to do that.

Thank you Derrick. I There are no jobs waiting in my settings on my computer. Does that also mean there are also no jobs in the actual printer memory? The printer had started to print the job before there was a huge paper jam that end up dislodging the encoder strip. I just want to make sure as it was a sensitive document.

If the Windows print cue is clear, there should be no job in the printers buffer.

Ok - Thank you. Since I have you, is there any tricks to reconnecting the encoder strip. I have it fed through the printer head but having great difficulty getting it attached at either in the limited space. Thanks again !
