PIXMA G3270 won't print from Firefox

My new MegaTank G3270 will print from Word, but won't print documents, (my Property Tax Receipt, my bank's 1099INT statement), from within Firefox.  Is Firefox the issue?

Firefox Settings

  • Open Firefox and check the print settings:
    • Click the menu button, then select Print.
    • Ensure the correct printer is selected in the Printer dropdown menu.
  • Clear Firefox’s print settings:
    • Go to Help > More Troubleshooting Information.
    • Click on Clear saved print settings.

Test Other Browsers

  • Try printing the same page from another browser (like Chrome or Edge).
  • If it prints correctly in another browser, the issue is likely with Firefox.

Update Drivers and Software

  • Ensure that both Firefox and the PIXMA G3270 drivers are up to date.
  • Visit the Canon website to download the latest printer drivers.

Disable Extensions

  • Disable any print-related extensions in Firefox that might be causing conflicts.
  • Restart Firefox after making changes.

Additional Steps

  • If problems persist, try printing in Firefox’s Safe Mode to rule out add-on conflicts.
  • Restart the Windows print spooler service to resolve any stuck print jobs.

Thank you.  It seems to work.  I never would have found this without your advice.
