I have owned two prior Canon printers and was very satisfied by both. When my MP series unit died last fall, I replaced it with an MX430. I thought that the installation was oddly complex and finicky for Canon - and I qualify as a reasonably competent tech user. While it functions fine, I have been bitterly disappointed in the complexity and density of the Manual, the help function, and figuring out how to do the simplest tasks (e.g. scanning multiple pages into one pdf file). Navigating the menus is completely non-intuitive, completely confusing and completely frustrating. Was this a different tech team on this product? Totally not up to standards. I'm wasting precious time on a regular basis.
I am seriously contemplating replacing it as soon as possible and giving it away. This time I will carefully browse reviews before selecting one based on ease of use.
